Elcasmirb, I think this has always been the strategy. You'll recall that the company has said many times over the last year or so that a top spending priority was acquiring adjacent properties. I'm afraid that many did not recognize how vital this was. Of course, the strategy changed because of the SEC trouble. I figure this set us back a year, because it was necessary to spend time and money on the BD report, instead of proceeding with Guido's study alone.
On the subject of geologist's studies, am I the only one who believes that interest by the majors demonstrates the validity of GE's various reports? I don't think any mining company, major or otherwise, is going to go across the street, much less to Bolivia, without first having seen some credible studies. Remember, Guido's second study represented the vast majority of the work done at Cangalli. It also was the one that sparked the interest of other mining companies initially, over a year ago. Remember also, no one has ever said that Guido's numbers were wrong. |
