rudedog and Mikey. Thanks for the help. Will work on your tips. I have thought about DSL, but since I live in a rural part of Southeastern Mass, it doesn't seem to be available yet. I did also have a 10 MB ethernet card installed when I purchased the system in case I wanted to go to cable, which is available. But from what I've seen, a lot of people have trouble with the cable being down, and I hesitate to jump on it. But if I can't solve the phone line thing, I may go for cable after all.
