GSTRF -- Anyone care to tell me the difference between GSTRF and IRID? IRID went belly up... why there is a future for GSTRF? As I understand it, GSTRF uses CDMA and IRID used TDMA.. CDMA is better than TDMA for sure but wirless communication is cheaper through ground stations... Since Satalltes are good for downlinks but uplinks are hard to achieve using small handsets... L.
