opinion--No , not likely-- at least I hope NOT!.

CIC is an encryption company--a math applications company if you will. Balt is an enterprise company. BALT and CIC know each other and respect each other.

For BALT to vertically integrate CIC into itself--may kill some part of the 'encryption everywhere' syndrome that is becoming CIC's forte.

calypso may have a far more educated opinion than I.

I like BALT and have some--like CIC-- it has been good to have of late. BALT has an SI page here on Silicon Investor.
