Steven Milunovich, managing director of equity research for Merrill Lynch ... Research in Motion's Blackberry doing well, 3Com's Palm unit going public ... also likes Network Appliance and Cobalt

I've been reading Milunovich's research for the last 7 months and have a high opinion of him. I'd rank him under Gilder and over most everyone else I've come across.

BTW, he's head of technology research there, not of all equity research.
