I returned from Savannah hours ago and it has taken that long to wade through Feelies.

Reading a whole bunch at a time is not up-lifting.

Responding a whole bunch at a time may cause some others (including yourself) to have the same feeling. Nasty/nice is out of the question. As is nicey/nice.

I don't think pesticides have had jack to do with decreases in male fertility (assuming such a trend exists -- would you mind citing sources?).

IF there's been a decrease in male fertility maybe it has coincided with the ascendency of a bossy female class. NOW, NOW, don't go thinking I have anything against women or strong women or women who are smarter than me. There are many women in my life who's shadows I am proud to be in.

Pesticides, despite serious hazards and a need for understanding and caution, have benefited the human race enormously. You can look it up.

As for increases in cancer, most are thought attributable to the extra 30 years we now live. The vast majority of physicians of all stripes, other than those with some narrow, contrary agenda will tell you that we all have cancer all the time but our bodies hold it in check.

As we grow older, our bodies are less able to handle the stresses presented. I will go further on this subject if you wish, Christine.
