Yes there has been some gouging out there .. As a matter of fact I'd considered putting out a flyer for Monday offering my services as a programmer at the rate of $250 per hour .. I figure that there will be a shortage of us to clean up the mess.

Some of the gloom and doom was presented by our governments. They had to. People just weren't taking the threat seriously. Based on the latest consumer confidence numbers, I'd say that they didn't get the message across well enough.

Anyway .. the jury is still out .. give it a few more days.
