Be careful what you wish for...

Solon and Sherry, two well known frequenters of this high class and ritzy neighbourhood, have been arraigned on charges of drunk and disorderly conduct, lewd and lascivious behaviour, and aggravated assault. They have a DATE to appear together before Superior Court tomorrow in the a.m. to answer to these and other charges.

Witnesses report that Solon had left a huge wallet on the roof of his limo and asked the gas jockey to collect when done. In the meantime he wandered to a lamp post and began to swig from a silver flask. After returning to his vehicle he accused the jockey of stealing some of his money. Sherry then physically attacked the young man, and knocked him to the ground several times--before finally being subdued by a bus load of football players who were (luckily) passing by.

"I don't work hard for my money", slurred Solon, "but neither do I abide miscreants, thieves, and ingrates". When asked his relationship to Sherry Fox, Solon appeared nonplussed and responded: "What do you mean by relationship? Do you mean the kids?"

Police say that when the two were offered their one phone call, they requested to speak with each other from their respective station pay phones. The Duty Sargeant said he could finally nothing proscriptive of the practice in law; and so the two happy revelers talked long into the night about sweet nothings.
