Last week I was worried about one of my computers, an AMD K-5 chip model, which a Y2K test indicated needed one of those RTC (real time clock) add on boards to fix the problem. So far though, the computer is working normally, and displays the year 2000 with no problem, so now it appears that at least some folks were "ripped off" by faulty testing and or unethical suppliers...
