I would like to learn more about what markets the company sees as being decent size in the near future.... I mean 'spacecraft & power plants' aren't going to cut it.

presently, everyone has been bantering about high temp applications. as far as mass markets, how about a few monitoring chips on every internal combustion machine. the best part of the spacecraft thing is that nasa pays for the research and cree gets to develop products that have other apps.
let's not forget the apps not requiring high temp...communications, microwave, blue laser, etc.
every light bulb replaced by a cree led is a mass market app. how many 12v light bulbs are in use in cars, rv's, buses, boats, etc, etc.
