The latest price I saw referencing the LED's was 8 cents. You would have to sell a lot more LED's to equate that level (of course the applications are more ubiquitous). i recall the ceo stating the price is in the 0.30-0.35 range. last conference call, i believe. i have been in an on-going debate about whether 6 cree leds in 5% of nokia's cell phones will get cree $1.50 or $2.00 per in revs. i think cell phones might meet david's mass market criteria.
