I wonder if the SEC has ever sued anybody like Cruz for filing a fictional prospectus.

That filing was simply too absurd to qualify as fraud.

I wonder about the self-described CPA who gave an opinion on that ridiculous balance sheet. It would be interesting to call the California Board of Accountancy to check on the status of his CPA license. dca.ca.gov

Consider the asset of $2 B for gold that appears on the balance sheet. That figure is based on an inexpensive survey that estimates there are 7 M ounces of gold in the ore in their mining property. They multiply the 7 M ounces by the $300/oz price of pure gold to get $ 2 B. Somehow they neglect to consider that there are costs involved in mining and smelting the ore.

Not to mention the HYIP scam, of course.
