Globalstar phones tough to get! I wrote to ask why there were no phones for sale on the site. The answer is below. Please note the commercial start date as supplied by them. Dear Jim, Unfortunately, we do not have any Globalstar phones in stock, and probably won't until mid-January. There are 'test' models available from some service providers, however, we do not have any test models available for distribution right now. Commercial service begins mid-February and we should have our phones in-stock by mid-January. We are expecting the Globalstar phones to cost $1,495 with airtime minutes costing $1.49 for domestic calls and $2.99 for international calls per minute.
