New Year's Recommendations For GMGC Friends

(1) Bookmark the Financial Times site ft.com and click each morning to look at world markets and great financial and general news coverage.
(2) Read every word in the Economist's "Millenium Special Addition" (so good that I picked up an extra five copies for friends).
(3) Get the Congressional Quarterly's "Guide to the 2000 Presidential Election" by Michael Goldstein, about $17 at Amazon. This is a great 105 page summary of results, rules, and candidates for all presidential elections, past and present - filled with charts and tables.
