My one and only reply to Mr Jas Cooper!

First, people agree that this is a private forum. That means keep the picks private - don't agree don't join or participate.

Second,"Advising people to follow 'alerts' without any due diligence, discussion, fundamental analysis, or contrary opinion is absolutely ludicrous. It would be a shame for people to realize this only after it is too late." AGAIN, people can do what they CHOOSE to do! USA, Bill of Rights, you know freedom!! If people do not want to follow the Day Trade Rules - THEN DON'T! People know that TL has been doing this for some time, and by many peoples accounts is rather good at day trading...still not sure, then follow on Paper until you (the consumer that is) can make your decision - but it is still YOUR decision! Private forum will be more interactive and participatory...until then..

3) "SI is in business to make money, just like everybody else. If they set up private forums (akin to Yahoo's clubs), it will not be because they condone such things, but to be able to sucessfully compete in this area." Any your point IS? Don't you think that SI sees their big following threads moving to private Off-SI venues and realize the impact and now want to try and do someting about it?

4) "Maybe you can explain to me why the 'rules' don't allow people to post in code, offer their own picks, or post on other threads. Why is it that people are now instructed to follow the 'alerts' blindly without any form of due diligence?" Simple, it's TLs thread...don't like the rules then YOU (the consumer that is is again) LEAVE! TL has said time and again when the Private thread opens, it will get back to more open forum...for now code and all its 'horrors'....chilllleeeerrrR!!!! People can post to other threads, just don't go hyping a PRIVATE CALL!! (key word here- PRIVATE) "Offer own picks" - Mr TL has said time and again that he is here to try and help those less involved in trading and look out for their best interests..it gets harder to do so when others keep throwing their picks into the ring. But again, what's the key area here - Private, Rules, Ideas - don't like, leave, start your own, whatever...in Essence - You (the consumer again) can make your OWN decisions! Don't beleive in Mr. Luke, again Consumer than LEAVE!

5) "blindly with out DD" - I've never seen that, on position plays it always comes out with do your own DD, day calls are just that, looking at Level II characteristics and making a CALL right then and there...DD on a day call fueled by LII only would seem foolish to expect DD .. look at DT rules - who cares about stock, follow characteristics and what the Ticker is telling you.

What, since he said SAPE was a good deal but did not participate that makes him a schmuck? Doubt it!

Again, again, again...the consumer (you) is faced with decisions each and every day, and when the realize that they are responsible for making their own decisions and the consequences good/bad/indifferent...we'll all be better off.

Last, you said, "An objective view of what is happening here raises many questions that only those outside of this selective group seem to notice." I definitely do NOT see an objective view. I see a view looking for things , some very little, that can be used as an argument to criticize the threads creator...that's not being objective, that's being petty and small....

But hey the above is just my "objective view" from someone who just started participating less than a month ago and who still hasn't played an trades (except on paper - would have made over 6 points to date) due to tied up capital and being unable to dedicate time for DTing... oh yeah, in CS up over 3+ points...and made 6 points on SBAS in a day...

Peace all, happy New Year..."same as it ever was, same as it ever was, same as it ever was...."
