This is great news, and the stock is reacting accordingly. Ooops, I forgot this is CUBE. Actually, this may be a great buying opp as the market finally gets around noticing this codec. Does anyone have a power-consumption number for the chip? A very low power chip will jump start the camcorder business. CUBE said they were working on it, but from the PR I'd guess this is not it yet. I think this is one for the TiVO and RePlay type set-top DVR market.
