One must learn to deconstruct the text according to the Viaduct method, developed by Chico Marx in the play "Cocoanuts". When confronted with the term "viaduct", give it a comic pronunciation, then say,"Why a duck, why not a chicken?" Then there is the Capt. Spaulding method: "I once shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas I'll never know." Finally, there is the Andy Kauffman riff: he's got to be kidding, therefore it must be a brilliant put-on.......Employ any one of these methods to the deconstruction of a text, and I guarantee, you will get a chuckle......
