You can get off your knees now and quit your wimpering, haley.

We live in an international community.

Where would Indonesia be ... and what hopes does it have from a socio-economic perspective ... without a mining industry?

The Indo's have already said they do not have the capital or expertise to mount their own mining forays ...

So where would they be? In abject poverty, in a total desecretion of human and civil rights and ruled by despots with no hope of ever having freely elected officials.

With international investment, they have an opportunity to take charge and control their destiny ...

For sure, it may not happen tomorrow ... but it will happen.

As one of the Armchair Investors that you and Peter Grandich so love to disdain ... I can tell you I have no problem in participating in the emancipation of a third world country through economic growth.
