Joe, Opinions are like belly buttons, everybody has one. You certainly are entitled to yours.

However, you are going up against Steve Milunovich, the most respected computer hardware industry analyst at Merrill Lynch. He released a report this morning on a survey conducted with 50 major US CIO's and 20 European CIO's. He specifically mentions that servers and storage will see growth in 2000. He mentioned, EMC, Network Appliance, and Veritas software by name as ML picks this year.

Good Luck with your investing but remember that others on this thread do not share your opinion. I expect NTAP to continue its rise with the usual corrections in the spring and late summer/early fall. I expect NTAP's stock price appreciation to at least match its growth rate provided it continues to meet/exceed it numbers.

There is another article in VAR Business about NAS published December 20, 1999 titled "NAS Gains Mass Appeal - The technology is moving out of niche applications and into mainstream". Downsouth, Kas1, Mehitibel, myself & others were discussing the issuance of a "Tornado Warning" for NTAP 2 quarters ago after their Y-O-Y quarterly growth rate increased from 70% to 80% to 90% last quarter. Downsouth has created the first of a 3 part series on NTAP which is worth you consideration.

Happy New Year!

Duncan
