OT investment books

DS,

For options books, try Options As a Strategic Investment by McMillan. It is the only major one that's not insulting to one's intelligence and doesn't read like a microcap thread. Some people call it "dry," but that's only because it presents options from the point of view of portfolio theory, not from the point of view of hype and get-rich-quick.

BTW, did you see the guy on the QCOM thread who maxed out his credit cards to buy QCOM calls and made something like $3.5M off the deal? I can't believe no one (that I've read) has told him how absolutely insane that is.

I don't like Lynch. He makes things too simple. And "buy what you know" is exactly the wrong strategy as far as risk management of your personal financial situation. But that's just my opinion.

One "classic" investment book I do like is A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton Malakiel.
