Morgan Securities Inc. has initiated research coverage of online sporting goods retailer Fogdog Inc. (NASDAQ: FOGD) with a buy rating and a 12-month price target of $25. -- Revenues are expected to be $5.8 million in 1999 and $31.2 million in 2000. -- Advantages for Fogdog include becoming an early leading sporting goods electronic commerce retailer, and its strategic partnerships with industry giants. -- Shares of Fogdog were up 5-1/2 at 15 in trade on the Nasdaq stock market.
