Check this out: publicdebt.treas.gov The national debt jumped over $40 billion on the last day of the calendar year. The national debt is now up $120 billion since the end of the government's previous fiscal year on 9/30. At this rate, the red ink could total $480 billion by the end of the current fiscal year. Why doesn't the media ever notice this stuff?
