Now do we believe the DB analyst . . on his own . .. went out on the limb . . . and predicted an uptick in deal announcements? I have my doubts that backbones grow that strong on Wall Street without a little help. I do have a question for the thread: Will INCY seek to further "monetize" their royalty stream from additional big phrama companies, like they did with PFE? Or was that a one time event in order to get enough cash to carry them through this "investment" period? My re-reading of the PFE press release and watching the INCY presentation at the RS conference in early December leads me to believe it was a one time deal, but I have been wrong so many times it is laughable. What do the rest of you think? Also how much of a payment do you believe PFE made to INCY for that "monetizing" amount? Do you think our DB analyst found out? I will start the bidding at $30 million for the PFE deal. Cheers,
