Gerald - Re: "I think it's time for everyone to admit that the only Y2K bugs that have or will show up are rinky-dinks like this one and we should stop worrying. A minor problem here or there is nothing to be concerned about. I must admit, though, that while I expected nothing major to happen I'm surprised that nothing notable happened. "

Let me give some "KUDOS" to a program that so far seems to handle dates - Y2K - before and after - exceptionally well.

I use a slightly out of date version of Paradox - Version 7 - which I bought when Borland (now Inprise) still owned it.

After the new Millennium, Paradox 7 - on its own - converted all displayed dates to 4 digits for <year 2000 and reduced the display of >year 2000 digits to 2 digits from 4.

One cautionary item - entering a transaction from last year as 12/29/99 - posting AFTER the Millennium - now assumes that means 12/29/2099 !!!

So a smart program must still be understood properly.
