Rude,
After seeing AOL on a friends machine it was easy to see it was made for new users and the (much) younger set. My guess is most of that junk just takes up space and is not used by anyone that would not find it if they were interested. The same goes for AOL "buddy list" and Yahoo Inst Mess,,, more for kids. With things like dialpad.com those are only a game.
It seems MSFT may be having trouble getting away from the DOS core. Almost like thay are afraid to miss something people want or need.
I am still using Win 98 in all but 1 machine that still has 95 running. Knocking on wood as I have only lost once due to a virus and had to format C in one of the DELL boxes. Was not a problem. The 3 files missed were sent by DELL support by Email and disk. Any 'junk' can be stored away unless needed--- with 27 gig there is more space than anyone can use in a lifetime.
HHMMMmm I rarely have more than 8 windows open at a time. Looking for something that allows 2 - 3 to run on the screen at the same time!
