Sad to say but religion brings about the attitudes of the older son, and personal relationship with Jesus brings about the attitudes of he prodigal son. We are in the process of moving into the largest church building I have ever been in and hopefully will fill it full with over a 1000 worshippers; BUT: it takes a 'doggone' good memory to have compassion on those estranged from God, as we once were. And not think that the devil is out there blessing those sinners, and throwing parties for them, and just having the time of their lives, while poor old God's people are tongue lashing each other, bitter old fogies, that could'nt throw a party if they had to.
I'm like you too, lets 'P' 'A' 'R' 'T' 'Y'.....make them jealous of US for a change.
My 'alma matter' is playing FSU for the National Championship tomorrow night..No 'alfluence of incohol' but I'm going to be partying tomorrow night after the grace of the good Lord helps Va Tech bring home the National Trophy.
Seriously.. This year I'm taking on a must( much) 'lighter' attitude , healthier, more blessed, more intune with the joy, peace, and grace of the Good Lord.......gregor |
