Cheapskate Alert, brick and mortar style. Walgreen's has some nice Freebates this month. You can get Clairol Herbal Essences Face Cleanser ($5.99, and good stuff), MoreHair Shampoo ($4.99) and Serum ($9.99 and I don't know how the heck it works, but, hey, for free. I just hope I don't drop it on my back or my nose. <g>), L'Oreal Feria Hair Color (top of the line, $9.99), and Choice Fudge Bars $5.29 (a sports nutrition bar for diabetics, but, hey, who needs the sugar? One of the best tasting and most nutritional I've seen, though grossly overpriced if you have to pay). All for free after rebate, though you have to pay sales tax. There are other rebates, but they aren't totally free, so of little interest.

Eckerd, as is their usual habit, do not have their rebate brochures for Jan 2 in their stores yet. Of course, when you talk Eckerd, you are not talking competence or customer service. Still, they have some very nice Freebates most months, so I will report on them if they ever get their act together.
