The split indicates that JDSU is going to have a fabulous quarter

There is always some doubt in my mind going into earnings of many stocks, including JDSU. However, today's announcement gave the all clear sign. The timing was incredible, after the end of the quarter.
It says a lot even without commentary on how well the company has done this quarter. In the multex.com interview, KK stated that their acquisitions have not contributed to the bottom line---maybe they are now starting to.

I recall someone posting that a new production facility went into gear in Oct99.
