Thanks August and Ken. I actually got it to work. I had little bit of trouble with the registration process in that it would not accept a two word last name, so I combined them and it worked. The download is about 6.5MB. Its very similar to the old WoW Pro 5.0 with a few notable exceptions. First difference is that you can log on and off the software so its possible to buy their data and research and have access to it throughout the day. I had a download mess up all my data this morning--each stock now has over 25,000 records going back to 1900, with the firs record being today and all the others blank. I have a backup set of data that I will be transferring tomorrow from home. Differences I noticed in the software also included an inability to sort a list of securities by price or price change. Now you can only sort by name and symbol. I was hoping they would add volume. No such luck. The sort thing is kind of annoying and makes it hard to find the price gain leaders. You have to run scans to do it now. Another difference is speed. It takes much longer to flip through charts using the previous and next buttons. I also noticed it is a lot slower at doing scans. I have a speedy maching with over 100MB of ram too. On the plus side, I had no crashes. The old software was notorious for crashing from flipping thru charts when the data button is selected and also when entering long indicators or trading system formulas. I'm just glad I can now get the downloads--I use dial data as well. It preserved all of my indicators and systems and templates and charts--which I did not want to have to replicate in Metastock by hand. August if I were you I would try again to get the upgrade. They only let you get it once I noticed and they assign you a registration number. I was also a bit insulted by their webpage that basically said, we don't owe you this upgrade. That is a pretty shitty statement especially for anybody that has bought this product in the last couple of years and shelled out over $300.
