Wes - Arguments that I have heard before on RHAT and Linux. Many are saying open source is not the answer, and I agree to a point. But I don't have the time now to restate my opinion on open source.....it is in that article I wrote though, all spelled out. People seem to think that Open source means that no one can control it .... not true. Early on, yes, but later as it matures, it will take hold and be developed largely by a consortium in my opinion.

I also discuss the desktop argument ........ the desktop as we know it is changing...and soon it should not be known as the desktop but more as a "server-top" or "Server-Centric desktop".

Just take a couple minutes and read the article. My whole position is in it. It may or may not be RHAT, may be SCOC, LNUX or even MSFT if they embrace it quickly enough.
