David; The game of short selling is simple sell stocks that you don't (Your broker get to loan you someone elses stock that is long and wait until the stock goes down buy the same number of shares to give back the shares your have on loan. "Don't fight the trend of the Dow."

Now, never short a stock above 150 DMA, trades less than 25,000 and does not have a low support and a top formation. A stock that goes up to fast maybe a ggod one. If you don't know TA. forget.

Get a book on TA Stan Weinstein wrote a good book call beleive Making profit in Bead and Bull Market. $20.00 in paper back. Read and then we will take somemore. You need a charts service like Qoutes Plus to follow and select stocks.

Start with the above and read all SI threads on shorts!!!
