I believe we possess free will, in all things, limited though by circumstances. We don't choose the cards we are dealt in life but can choose how to play them. Your belief in predestination doesn't make you a bad person nor damn you, IMO, so in that sense you don't need to be "saved" from it. If I dispute predestination with you, it's because of the negative things I see it implying about God. My concern is to defend God's goodness which I have faith in.
