re item # 4...i see inflation, not deflation... yes shopping on the web is cheaper in some ways. i think one of the merits of it is the lack of hassle, as customer service is weak or non existant in retail shops. in the areas of computers or stereo equipment, often the customer knows more than the 17 year old on the sales floor. otoh, aa was the best dow stock last year. nickel, copper and aluminum are at recent highs. btw, i hear the p.c. term for bullets now is nuggets... one shouldn't say bullets...
