I'll gladly cut you slack for remembering "Jack" as "Dick" (Herr Doktor Professor, I see Herr Ish approaching on Mariahilferstrasse. Are you expecting him?).

That's a GREAT tune! Caught me near the outset of my second childhood, as it were. People keep telling me that Mellencamp is a neighbor of mine. I haven't seen him.

My personal favorite on the subject is from the Bob Seger collection -- slightly harder edge, perhaps. "Night Moves" -- ".....way up firm and high.....working on mysteries without any clues......"

Hope you're enjoying a peaceful evening in the absence of "she who hasn't been posting tonight." I don't do smilies but you can go ahead and stick one on, if you want.
