David,

But what about the players already out there??? They seem to work fine don't they? What's wrong with SONY and MP3's flash file management?

No one else has a true multicodec OS out there that anyone is aware of.

Any player that you see touting that their player can play all the different codecs is misleading. What they do is convert the different codecs into the one that the player is designed to play. The way Fred Falk describes it is that it's like taking a photocopy of a photocopy. Sound quality suffers and the player is very slow. I have read some reports on some of the players and it takes several seconds in between songs to play while the codecs are being converted.

EDIG's MicroOS is the only true multicodec that plays each codec in it's true form. In my opinion EDIG will own the majority of the digital music player market because of this. It's the best and most versatile.
