To John and Mare Britton,

FWIW in response to your questions,

My PAIR strategy is just to keep an occasional eye on the chart looking for typical signals of breakout or interest. Other than that I will let time take its course.

What happens with stocks like this is they just languish then pick up and start running due to some catalyst. To my mind, NOVL, CAIS and many others fit this kind of pattern. First, COVD, WCOM and others involved with DSL will increase use of PAIR products. An analyst watching the COVAD's and RHYTHMS of the world taking off says well who are the Arms Merchants? PAIR comes up on the list, relative to competitors it looks dirt cheap, "undervalued relative to it's peers". Two to six months after the CLEC's start running, the virtues of PAIR will be extolled and buyers will emerge.

The requisite words are said and the stock begins to move...Yes, it's just like a canned Hollywood production but you see this kind of play running up and down Wall Street on a regular basis.

Today I picked up some PAIR leaps during the selling pressure in the A.M. I look forward to a triple digit return with them in Y2K.

Regards,
