J L Segal,
I normally just read the wonderful posts on this thread, but thought you might enjoy this info regarding the different exchanges. In her book, 'Understanding Electric Day Trading', Carol Troy interviews the president of the NASDAQ, Alfred R Berkeley III. He gives the info that over 2000 of the companies on the NYSE have less than 25 trades a day and that half of the stocks traded on the NYSE have less than 15 trades a day, and fully 1000 of the stocks have less than 10 trades per day. It seems the NASDAQ would be the preferred exchange for listing if a company wants active investors. IMO Stevo
