Awwww...you too? Guess we're just not mindless crusaders enough. Never mind what one crusades for, doesn't matter much if it's mindless. Which brings me to the question of worship at the Altar of the Great Ayn. In my view, turgid neo-Nietzscheian rubbish, as I believe I've said before. We've had quite enough of the Ubermensch thing in this century, have we not?

But what I find funny is this: how can anyone who is truly intelligent and "rational" accept without question the "philosophical" or "moral" pronouncements of another? Ayn or anyone? Why not just be a bible-thumper? That way you'll at least feel you're gonna go to heaven.

I'm very wary indeed of immutable First Principles, which inevitably lead the way to absurd conclusions.
