All I can say is that short sellers look for things to pounce on. Having company officers post on message boards, communicating investor information is a sure fire way to attract short sellers.

Why do the company officers feel it necessary to communicate via this method? the CEO himself? What is the motivation? Are there no other proper channels to communicate with and attract investors? It is absurd! At the very least, it gives a poor impression to potential investors that the company seems to be less than professionally oriented. Professional CEO's do not spend their time posting to message board Q&A sessions. Instead, they plan and release company news via legitimate channels and employ professional, competent managers to maintain an investor relations dept. The IR dept. is where questions should be directed.

There is nothing wrong (IMO) with someone from this message thread calling the company with a list of questions and posting answers. But I do cringe at sight of seeing officers of the company post directly to these boards. It will invite unwanted attention.

Hope I've made my point,
KevinT
