This certainly could be. But if you look at those short interest numbers I posted for the past 12 months, how could such a major change (if indeed it is a change) occur in such an even fashion? Shouldn't there have been at least ONE month of major short covering? We moved from $20 to $60+ in less than two months. Shouldn't that have sparked some movement?

There is not enough variance here to suggest ANY significant short covering in the past year. The lack of relative change in the short numbers continues to mystify me. It it almost like a major part of these numbers has been short all along for years, but that doesn't make any sense to me either.
