Re << food for thought>>
Thanks for sharing those articles on bandwidth and financial changes- it helps to understand what is happening.
In 1954 at NAA my job was to assign the missile measurements to
be transmitted to the ground during flight of the xxxx missile.
We had a PCM/PDM (pulse code modulated/pulse duration modulated)
Radio transmitter system on one RF frequency by which one could
sample and send 20 different measurements over one RF channel
with the pulse lengths representing the magnitude of the measurement.
So the basic concept of sending packets of data has been around for a while, now expanded by the use of multiple bandwidth and enormous speeds beyond my comprehension. But it seems Dr. I J
has no problem dealing with that(hehe)
Some progress has been made since the Hallicrafters S-38 wireless receiver(G) and its changing the world.
Regards
Sig( who should hang head in shame for having no amzn or ebay)
