tcd,

I think your comments toward CK are absolutely uncalled for.

She played a large role in assisting companies and their management into identifying and remediating their embedded systems.

Although those of us who were worried about Y2K were all wrong about the overall prospects of Y2K remediation companies and the amount of disruption that might occur, I know of many people who didn't have a clue about checking embedded systems as a part of their Y2K program... that is until I mentioned it to them.

And I would never have known about the issue had it not been for CK.

Now this is not to say that CK and I have not had our differences of opinion on what would actually transpire because we certainly have.

I just adopted a more moderate perspective of "if it's broke we'll fix it" rather than focusing on all the potential disaster that might occur as a by-product of Y2K (like riots, martial law... etc).

And besides she's one hell of a nice lady (and good-lookin' to boot).

Regards,

Ron
