Things seem to be progressing..... totaltele.com China Drafts Mobile Communications Standards RDSL 04 January 2000 A total of eight mobile communications industry standards have been drafted following the China Wireless Telecommunications Standard conference. The standards adopted included general technological standards on 800MHz CDMA cellular equipment; technological requirements for 800MHz CDMA cellular equipment; technological requirements on interfaces for 800MHz CDMA cellular equipment; technological standards on testing interfaces for CDMA cellular equipment; POSCAG data transmission protocols; technological standards on SIM card facilities library for 1800/900 MHz TDMA cellular networks; and two community SMS standards.
