January 1, 2000 Message To Users Welcome to the first Search Engine/Directory of the New Millennium. We firmly believe that we have built a business Search Engine/Directory the way they should have been built in the first place. As we provide users with quick, relevant results in the cities/towns where they want to find the results, we feel we have really built a "Results" Directory not a "Search" Directory. It is a fact that 80% of all individuals and companies spend their money within 20 miles of their homes or businesses. Yet, to date, nobody thinks of using the Internet to locate the goods and services that they want to buy. It is within these 20 miles where people make their purchases and where advertisers want to invest their advertising dollars. Indexonly's ability to provide very detailed, community based business information, on a North American and eventually a global basis, satisfies these needs and represents our strategic advantage over our competitors. Please remember that this is still a work in progress and represents only Version 3.0. Many more versions will follow, each representing an improvement over the previous version. As our agent network starts to be established throughout US and Canada the quality of the 17 million company records already in our database will also continue to improve. Unlike virtually all other Internet start-ups we already have revenue from the sale of our franchise licenses. As of this date we have sold a total of 6 franchises in Canada, and will now be shifting some of our efforts to the US market. We continue to receive leads for International franchises and hope to move forward on these during the third quarter of 2000. We have a total of 17 full time staff who represent a strong base for this company's continued growth. As mentioned in my last Message to Users, our SB-2 will be filed with the Securities Exchange Commission within the next 4 weeks. It is our intention to keep all interested parties up to date by using "Corporate Updates" and letters similar to this one. Therefore please continue to look under the "Corporate Info" tab on the front page of our Search Engine for all future Message to Users and Corporate Updates.
