NO NO, I would never buy a new one! I have my eye on a '99 with <24K miles; $10K less than new, and i will drive the wheels off of it.

It need a good truck for cross country driving, hauling building materials, horse manure, topsoil, camping gear, etc. Besides, I would look real good in that truck!

BTW, I bought Rolex (non-Presidential) in 1986 while living in Europe, but with military privileges. A week moment, but a nice piece of jewelry. My wife wears one that I bought for her birthday in 1987. (Hey!, we were making tons of money and the PX had great deals!) Bought a grandfather clock in the Black Forest, too. It's already a family treasure.

Just to complete the picture, I own a Mustang 5.0 convertible LX that I bought in 1991. Has 130K miles on it. A '87 E150 van with 180K miles. Last Fall bought for my wife a used '97 Continental for 1/2 new price. Keeping the Mustang for the fun of it. Giving the van to my musician son.

(God, you Millionaire Next Door types are a royal pain in the butt!)
