TMSR Reports Record Revenues and Earnings

April 22, 1997. TMSR reported record first quarter revenues of $6.3 million, an increase of 37% compared to $4.6 million for the same quarter last year. Net income climbed 186% to a record $289,000 ($0.06 per share) compared to $101,000 ($0.02 per share) for the same quarter last year. The Company attributes the increase in revenues and earnings to the continued popularity of its driving products and increasing consumer acceptance of its Top Gun(TM) and X-Fighter joysticks.

``1997 is shaping up to be a great year for ThrustMaster,'' said ThrustMaster CEO Stephen Aanderud. ``We are off to a good start financially. We are particularly pleased to see the continued popularity of our 1996 new product releases. Our 1997 new product shipments are expected to begin in July with the Millennium 3D Inceptor, a derivative of the controller built for the NASA shuttle program. We anticipate announcing a number of other new products at our industry's major trade show (''E3``) in June. We are creating attractive, high-quality, affordable products positioned to appeal to a more diverse user base.''
