PB - RE: "I don't think too many folks were predicting that the PIII would be at 800 by the end of 99."

No one also predicted that Intel would SIGNIFICANTLY lower the standards of their launches.

Pricewatch doesn't have any listing for Intel 750 or 800MHz processors. It has been over two weeks since their launch.

The Chip Merchant STILL doesn't have the PIII 733 listed for sale. This processor has been "out" for over two months. store.yahoo.com

Your team should be congratulated for the high MHz it is able to attain. But it is too bad Intel is tarnishing its previous image of having products available in Intel volumes at launch.
