Apparently very little of the historical data and measures of market stability can be applied to the Nasdaq and certainly not to the companies coming public with interests in the Internet new world.

If one had taken this adice they'd be very unhappy today. It could continue on for years as with the early oil companies, railroads, and the telephone.
