I think your comments toward me are also uncalled for.

What comments?

The only thing I said to was that your comments were uncalled for. That was in reference to your snide remark about "and good riddance".

A lot of people absolutely disrupted their lives and lived in fear of Y2K over the course of the past 3 years. In fact, I was extremely worried as well up until about 12 months ago and my attendance at the WashDCY2K meetings (the same ones that Cory Hamasaki attended, yet derived a totally different impression from).

I chose NOT to pull up roots and pack off to some out of the way small town, wishing to be part of the solution and not the problem (of feeding the fear or panic).

But I also understand where the gloomier folks amongst us derived their fearful perspective. And that is that people are seldom rational when their world is disrupted. Thus, many of these fears were generated from comtemplating how people would react, and not necessarily from the physical mechanical disruptions from Y2K failures.

People can disagree with one another... but your making a direct attack upon CK and wishing her "good riddance" was rude, uncalled for, and certainly speaks of how you have turned a debate into a personal pissing contest with her.

'Nough said.
