Frank,

<< I see the thread's focus shifting away from Gorillas & Kings in favor of Snowballs >>

I have not noticed that.

Snowballs and Shiny Pebbles get introduced, get discected, then trashed. New prospective Gorilas & Kings (GMST, SEBL, get discected and find their way into our portfoloios and continue to be discussed. It does surprise me that such known older gorillas as Microsoft (MSFT), Intel (INTC), Cisco Systems (CSCO), Oracle (ORCL) and SAP (SAP) are carried lightly in many of our portfolios, but it does not surprise me that they are not so frequently discussed because we are searching for "New" Gorillas and Kings.
